About Deeproots Winery
Why it stands out
Deep Roots Winery is a family-owned Naramata Bench winery perched on clay cliffs above Okanagan Lake. The Hardman family has farmed in the area for more than 100 years across four generations, moving from orchard fruit and grape growing into their own winery after producing a first vintage in 2012.
What to expect on a visit
The winery works from two Naramata Bench vineyard sites: Hardman Vineyard on Aikins Loop and Rayner's Vineyard north of Naramata village. Vineyard work is done by hand, with the family focused on wines that reflect the quality of its fruit and long farming history.
Tour planning notes
Deep Roots is a strong fit for Naramata routes where guests want a family story, lake views, and a real farming connection. It is especially useful when balancing polished tasting rooms with a more rooted, multi-generation vineyard stop.
