Why it stands out
Orofino Vineyards is a Similkameen Valley winery known for place-driven wines and one of the region's most distinctive sustainable buildings. The team chose to build Canada's first straw bale winery in the Similkameen, using thick natural walls to keep the cellar cool in desert heat and efficient in winter.

Guests can expect a winery rooted in the Similkameen landscape, with vineyards shaped by sandy loam, gravel, river rock, granite cliffs, and hot benchland sites.
