Why it stands out
See Ya Later Ranch is one of the Okanagan's most recognizable hilltop winery settings, high above the south end of Skaha Lake on Hawthorne Mountain. Its story reaches back to Major Hugh Fraser, who bought the property in 1920, planted vines, and left behind the playful sign-off that became the winery name.
What to expect on a visit
The tasting room and wine shop are located in the Major's original hand-split stone home, with a patio overlooking vineyards, valley, and lakes. The vineyard is nearly 2,000 feet above sea level and is known for cool-climate varieties such as Pinot Noir, Riesling, and Gewurztraminer.
