About Serendipity Winery
Why it stands out
Serendipity Winery is a boutique Naramata Bench winery that began when Judy Kingston discovered an orchard for sale during an Okanagan holiday in 2005. That chance discovery became a full vineyard conversion and the start of a food-friendly winery rooted in discovery, warmth, and family hospitality.
What to expect on a visit
The property was replanted in 2007 with varieties chosen for the site's microclimate and soil types, including Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Viognier, and Sauvignon Blanc. Guests can expect tastings in the heart of the Naramata Bench, with regular flights and a more detailed VIP tasting option when booked ahead.
Tour planning notes
Serendipity is a good Naramata stop for guests who like smaller wineries, owner stories, and food-friendly wines. It works well when the route should feel personal and relaxed rather than focused only on large estates or formal tasting rooms.
